Take the oath under your own character's name
Before your first story you are sworn in: type a fictional first and last name, pick how advisors address you and a portrait, and the narrator speaks your oath.
Every new leader now begins with a short swearing-in. The game suggests a fictional name, but you can type your own, like a nickname, or roll a new one.
What you choose
- how advisors address you: Mr or Ms
- your character's first and last name
- what advisors call you in tense moments, such as a diminutive
- the region your portrait comes from
The oath appears under the form and the narrator reads it aloud with your character's name. The name is only yours: other players do not see it.
Fictional names only
The name belongs to a character, not to you. Do not type your real details or another person's. Names of well known politicians are refused both in the browser and on the server. You can change the name once a season, and the form of address, portrait and nickname at any time.
